Conveniently located minutes from Blacksburg, Virginia, and Virginia Tech, The Maggie B&B is scheduled for a grand opening in the spring of 2011, and will offer 5 bedrooms, all with charming views of the valley and mountains:
- 1 Deluxe Guest Room – Featuring a King size bed, fireplace and jacuzzi tub: $159/night
- 3 Valley Vista Rooms – Each features Queen size bed, bath and sitting area: $139/night
- 1 Bunk Room - Featuring two bunk beds (double mattresses) to accommodate up to 4 people, w/private bath: $79/night
Breakfast is included for B&B guests, and lunch/dinner will also be available in the kitchen, with the menu featuring our Red Devon All Natural Grassfed Beef. Cap’n Bart’s Bar will serve a wide variety of refreshments, and our homey gathering area will provide a comfortable space for relaxing around a large wood burning fireplace.
Additionally, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing, scenic guided horseback trail ride during your stay at the Maggie Bed & Breakfast.
Renovations & Booking Your Reservation
One of the original Black Diamond Ranch barns will be renovated and transformed into the Maggie Bed & Breakfast and General Store & Outfitters. We have chosen to renovate in order to preserve the historical setting and the Maggie valley’s mountain views of the original Black Diamond Ranch that has been in Maggie since the early 1900’s.
There is no obligation or deposit required for the initial Pre-Renovation Bookings. Just let us know the dates you’d like to visit the Black Diamond Ranch and stay at the Maggie Bed & Breakfast and we’ll book those dates for you, family and/or friends. Once we have a firm grand opening date, we will request that you confirm your dates and submit a deposit to hold your room(s). Again, there is no obligation until we have an official grand opening date and you have confirmed your final booking dates. Based on availability, we will be happy to change your dates as we get closer to the grand opening.
About the Black Diamond Ranch and the Maggie B&B:
The Black Diamond Ranch, LLC in picturesque Maggie, Virginia is being developed as an Agri-Tourism Business which will include: the Production and Sales of All Natural Grassfed Beef from our Red Devon Cattle Herd, an Equestrian Center, a General Store and Outfitters and the Maggie Bed & Breakfast.
The Black Diamond Ranch is located in the New River Valley area in Craig County, Virginia, which is located in the pristine Appalachian Mountain region known as Virginia’s Western Highlands. We are conveniently located 25 minutes from the city of Blacksburg, Virginia and Virginia Tech. We are about an hour from downtown Roanoke, Virginia and conveniently accessed via Interstate 81. Our ranch is boarded by the Johns Creek and surrounded by the Jefferson National Park with beautiful pristine mountain views. The Jefferson National Park, with more than 112,000 acres in Craig County, offers a wide variety of outdoor adventures including fishing, hunting, hiking, bicycling, horse trails, bird watching, primitive camping and access to the Appalachian Trail. The Black Diamond Ranch will feature horseback riding guided tours starting in early Spring 2011.
